Oil painting practice on Bristol Smooth paper.

I share a little bit of information about painting on different surface, in this case, paper vs canvas. On paper, the paint will dry way quicker than on canvas, like... under a minute, literally under a minute, and then the paint will get sticky, so it will be hard to blend. But the good side in painting on paper, is when you do a stroke line, I don't need to wait hours to paint another stroke line above it. And also, to blend a tiny area on paper, it's better if the paint dries quickly, because it's hard to control oil paint in a tiny area, at least
for me. But to blend a huge area on paper, it's a pain in the butt... :D

So, there's plus and minus in every medium, I don't have a favorite medium to paint on, either canvas or paper is awesome. And also, wood panel has slightly similar character with paper, only it dries a little longer than paper.

Happy painting... happy creating... :happybounce:

"my mind is the product of my society,
the phantom of my dreams,
and I never tried to escape this inevitable fortune,
waiting for someone to rescue me…

I want to kill my innocence a thousand times…
and bury it under the mask of irony…
I want to slice my happiness a thousand pieces…
and feed them to the endless void…

but I’m willing to live another day…
for I’m about to fly away from this anguish…
"
