November 18th... daylight...

Here I am, sitting in my small workspace... sipping my morning coffee... thinking about what I've been done this year so far. It's quite a journey, I started oil painting early this year, it's been a huge transition between graphite pencils (which I already familiar with) into oil paint. It was very hard at the beginning, I tried so many things, did so many experiments, made a lot of mistakes, well... the process of learning, it's necessary, but it's also fun, even though there's a lot of failure pieces (which I threw them out instantly).

The thing is... people who already familiar with my graphite style, my graphite pieces, I'm pretty sure that some of them will be disappointed by this change, some of them could be also stop following me, some of them don't care or maybe even worse. But I can understand that, it's normal, I tried not to think too much about it, instead I prefer to keep pushing and pushing, it's not easy, but this is what I love to do, it's really fun actually.

For people who always support me, I always feel so grateful for that. My basic style is already formed in graphite pencil, I just need to transfer it into oil painting, and it takes time. But I think I'm getting close to it. With oil paint, since the first time I tried it, I fell in love with it instantly (I didn't feel like this with watercolor or even acrylic, I don't like acrylic, I suck with acrylic paint). So... please bear with me for a while, changes are inevitable.

And, 2014 is almost done, I think I will clear up all my artworks in the studio, big sale maybe. Will do a lot of projects next year, already had a big concepts for several years ahead. Everything is gonna be alright in the end, yup... keep pushing... and pushing...

Thank you for everything, always and always...
